Our founder, Peter Freudenberg, was an early ambassador for German specialty lubrication in Mexico.
Under his guidance, our team forged pivotal relationships with leaders in the steel, mining, cement, food processing, and metalworking industries.
Interlub quickly became synonymous with custom-engineered lubricant solutions, tackling the toughest tribological challenges with unmatched expertise.
After two decades of visionary leadership, Peter entrusted the helm to his son, René Freudenberg, to continue our legacy of innovation and excellence.

Since assuming leadership of the Interlub Group in 2004, René has been the catalyst for our dynamic international growth, has significantly amplified our R&D endeavors, and continuously encourages the team to transcend conventional business models.

1984 - Peter incorporates Interlub in Mexico.
1992 - Team launches new Interglass Business Unit
1994 - Interglass celebrate first export to Japan.
1998 - Our Mexico plant receives ISO 9001 certification.
2003 - Interlub establishes new subsidiary in Brazil.
2004 - Exports expand to 200 customers in 20 countries.
2010 - Achieve ISO 14001 environmental certification.
2014 - Exports reach 800 customers in 30 countries.
R&D Team collaborates with M.I.T.
Mexico plant attains ISO/FSSC 22000 Certificate.
2015 - Interlub establishes new subsidiary in Colombia.
R&D unveils a new line of high-performance, biodegradable open gear lubricants.
2016 - Mexico plant gets ISO/TS 16949 certified.
2017 - Presidential Recognition National Export Prize**
